Mark Holmes
SPORTS THERAPIST
Mark Holmes is a Sports Therapist with 20 years experience working in elite sport – treating dancers, triathletes and body builders. His clients have predominantly been footballers in the Premiere League; having worked with Blackburn Rovers, Sunderland AFC, England U21s, FA Officials and Real Madrid legends. Mark has constantly been pushed to be at the top of his field as part of a strong medical team.
During Lockdown Mark couldn’t practise so decided to pursue an idea he had; to develop a performance coffee with measured caffeine and Polyphenol to help focus and recovery. This has been scientifically tested at
Sheffield Hallam University and also Q graded as a speciality coffee. It’s now been launched and is called Amunra, used by a number of clubs in the Premiere League. For further information visit amunrauk.com
PROFESSIONAL TREATMENTS
Mark has now decided to start a new chapter, concentrating full time on his clinics. Whilst his experience is predominantly with athletes, his treatments are for newcomers to sport, non-participants and everyone in between. His primary concern is to help reduce aches and pains as quickly as possible, and ensure all his clients are at their optimum level of fitness, regardless of age and ability.

MASSAGE
Sports massage is a treatment given with the understanding not only of anatomy and physiology but also of the particular demands placed upon the body. It’s a treatment involving the manipulation of soft tissue with each treatment being specific to the client focusing on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive movement. Despite its title, sports massage can be a treatment for anyone.
